Fantasy Baseball '08 (non-dead) |
Just seeing if anyone out there is interested. Was mucho fun last year.
Ive set up the league but can make many changes if people want to tweak a few things.

You guys just might as well give me the trophy right now. My Fantasy baseball skills are unheralded in this little hippy world of minds will be no match for an excellent manager such as myself....thats why the wolfman will probably just kick me out of the league, because he knows if im in it, everyone else is just playing for second place

OK - we are all set now and no new teams are available. Tito - sorry man - you got bumped, but start a league or join one and i will be more than hapy to compete with you. It just wasnt a good fit with this league.
ive emailed everyone regarding a live draft - will wait for the input to make sure i can satisfy as many as possible.
thank you all very much for joining - this will be alot of fun. glad to see the returnees from last year and the new players - i appreciate the response everyone.

You can have those D-Backs and BoSox as long as you leave Utley, Howard, Rollins and Hamels for me (can you tell where I'm coming from?) I don't post much on here but I have played baseball/football on these forums the last couple years and enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to more friendly but competitive gamesmanship with some fellow heads ... Need some warm baseball thoughts here in snowy, slushy Jersey!

I'd love to participate but I presume you need to know something about baseball. I've seen a few baseball movies - The Natural, A League of Their Own, The Sandlot Kids, Eight Men Out, Major League, Field Of Dreams, Bull Durham, Heidi Klum In A String Bikini - eh where did that come from? But I suppose that doesn't qualify me. Wonder why baseball never got started here in the UK. Never mind - kick a homer down for me guys!

if we keep it at 15/ 16 or so it should be pretty competitive...it's harder to improve in rotisserie than it is in head to head through the season, so it's even more important to draft for balance...
